Full CGI movie and AR experience for the Allianz Cup’s Final Four, the Winter Champion. A collaboration with Fun Addict to create a unique ceremony for football league cup organised by the by Liga de Portugal.
 
Grandpa’s Lab were invited to produce the opening sequence for the winter champion’s final four phase of Allianz Cup.
The league’s logo calls for the players as the journey is about to start! The surroundings start to freeze as the match approaches. All the attentions are turned into the Leiria’s stadium, where the ice keeps freezing until it reaches the field. As it touches the grass, instead of freezing, it receives the ice power. The grass flourishes and gets ready for the match. Let the game begin!
 
The Final Four pre-match, was presented with an augmented reality experience. The concept follows the arrival of the winter championship to the stadium, and the activation of this moment to start the game.
 
A representation of winter weather phenomena brings the Cup to the center of the field. This action maximizes the experience of the challenge between the 2 playing teams.
